The independent bottler Carn Mòr’s 13 year old Speyside from ‘Strictly Limited’ series. Distilled in Royal Brackla Distillery, this whisky was matured in 2 Hogsheads from 2001 to 2014. A total of 777 bottles was filled with it.
Carn Mor bottlings I have tried until today were either disappointing or good. Just a few of them were really good. This also stays around OK line which I can define as a simple Speyside whisky, reflecting all natural characteristics and nothing more.
Also the spicy character increases every second during the experience which I didn’t enjoy a lot.
