Palate: Creamy texture with tobacco, chocolate fountain, molasses. Gets sweeter with water and mocha appears.
Finish: Caramel, cinnamon, tobacco and toasted oak. Tasty bitterness and menthol at the end.
Roaming Man Batch 9 is my third from the Sugarlands Distilling Company after Batch 3 and Batch 8.
I found Roaming Man Batch 9 the most suitable batch for the adventurous palates as it is complex, bold, hot but also balanced.
Variety of flavors and aromas don't overkill each other in the presence of high proof of 119.6.
Minimum age on this whiskey is 3 years and 4 months. Making it the oldest of all I have tried. I enjoyed chocolate character on the palate and the delicious bitterness at the very end.
