I am not a fan of those things becoming popular so fast. That's why I kept my distance with Japanese whisky for a long while. During this time this Nikka Miyagikyo Non Age Statement bottle has also vanished for good.
Nikka Miyagikyo Non Age was just the whisky to start Japanese whiskies in my opinion. Light, delicate and delicious. The taste was really distinct and it created a nice atmosphere in the palate.
With a joyful finish and palate which I enjoyed more than the nose, Nikka Miyagikyo Non Age Statement was a lovely gateway whisky to Japanese whiskies.
From the available Japanese whiskies, you can try the new Miyagikyo single malt, Nikka From The Barrel and Hibiki Japanese Harmony instead of this bottle.
