Nose: It all starts with espresso, chocolate, raisins, cocoa then evolves into orange zest and tiramisu.
Palate: Palate is creamy and malty just like a good old stout. White chocolate, orange, cinnamon, ground coffee appear as the whisky is decanted.
Finish:  Long and delicate. Vanilla pudding, dry plums and aromatic tobacco swirls around to create a pleasant finish.

Glenmorangie Signet is one of the most special whiskies from the Glenmorangie Distillery. During the brewing process, the mash contains a  'Chocolate Malt' which is over roasted barley and generally used in dark beer styles like stouts and porters. I also love Imperial Stout style, that shouldn't be a surprise now! This production happens only for a week in a year at the distillery.

Blending of the malts from Oloroso sherry casks, newly charred bourbon barrels and Glenmorangie's special malts selection from over 35 years of age can also be called a special form of art.

Palate is impressively dark which makes you visualize volcanic sandy beach, but right after, a wonderful turquoise sea appears and your journey to the heaven starts.

Elegant with complex chocolate flavors with tobacco and Demerara, Glenmorangie Signet starts to give out ripe fruits with old leather notes. So complex, so rich!

If you have never tried this whisky, you are missing out big time!
